Hello Covenant Children, What's up? How's life treating you?  Is it helter skelter?...topsy-turvy?

Ever since Alex Haley's novel Roots, everyone (especially Blacks) have spent a lot of time talking about their heritage. This is good because one's heritage is important. Everyone should know the history of their family.

Greetings in the name of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. My heart is full of thanksgiving and praise for all of God's goodness to us.

"To everything there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven; a time to be born, and a time to die; a time to plant, and a time to pluck up that which is planted."  Ecc. 3:1-2

"Therefore, my bretheren, be ye steadfast, unmovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, forasmuch as ye know that your labor is not in vain in the Lord." 1 Corinthians 15:58

Do you ever wonder why you have so much trouble? No matter what you try to do there is always some hindrance or some unfavorable objection.

"When a man's ways please the Lord, he maketh even his enemies to be at peace with him." Proverbs 16:7

Greetings, in the precious name of Jesus! Well, our biggest holiday season is here. I trust everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving. The ones I had an opportunity to talk with certainly said so.

One of the hardest things in life is learning to wait. It is natural for us to want to have what we want when we want it. We learn from childhood that the really great things come of hard work and waiting.

One day as I was praying the Holy Spirit said to me the word decisions . So I lifted it up to the Father and asked Him to help all of His people...

The other day I was thinking, What is it that causes so many people to get caught up in, stuck in a place of defeat, a place of destruction, a place of sin and sorrow? 

Moving reminded me of a lot of things. I found myself taking an inventory of my spiritual life. I asked myself if I had moved, relocated, dislocated or removed anything in my life. My answers were surprising and quite satisfying.

Once again I find myself living out the very word given to me to write to you. I found I was much calmer. The peace of God has absolutely settled in me.

Sometimes it is so easy for us to become satisfied with things as they are. Things stay the way they are because we don't think to ask the one who can change them to make them different.

We know the importance of a friend. All of us needs friends, don't we? Whether or not you are friendly could determine whether or not someone hears about Jesus Christ

God did us a favor allowing us to stand in the gap for all the unsettling things that surround us. Let us not be weary in well doing...

My Dear Family, 

I greet you all with joy and peace, in the name of Jesus! Giving all praise and thanks to Him, our Brother, the Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

Those of use who have confessed Jesus as our Lord and Savior constantly combat struggles in our soul (will, mind, emotions). Sometimes we suffer tremendous bouts with our flesh because we have not yet totally surrendered our will to God's in one way or another.

Lately I have been bothered by different things that just seemed to annoy me. Things that ordinarily would not bother me if I had not been so concerned...

Since God has loved us so much we should put as much love as we can into our giving to each other. And we should not forget that God so loved the world, so don't  forget about our neighbor. Let us make a point to reach out this year and honor God in our giving.

When is the last time you did or said something that really had an impact on someone. Don't bother to remember. It is not something you should readily take note of. You see, what I'm talking about is the art of encouraging one another.

I've heard all my life people talk about the fact that a person is considered fortunate if they have two or three good friends. Well thanks be to God, I'm more than fortunate, I'm blessed in this area. I have several special friends. I have only one natural sister.

That thing that you do that's positive - keep doing it. Go for a jog, walk, call a positive friend, pray. Find something that makes you feel better and do it.
